Windstruck

After having it on my computer for a while, I finally sat down and watched Windstruck/내 여자친구를 소개합니다, only to find out that the copy I had was hardsubbed in Japanese :( I was highly interested in this movie especially since it had the same director (Kwak Jae-yong) and same lead actress (Jun Ji-hyun) from My Sassy Girl.

I really wanted to watch the movie, so I tracked it down on My Soju and went through all 13 uploaded parts on Youtube. It was a pain to watch in parts since it’d get at a good part and it’d go to the replay screen. Nevertheless, this particular movie tugged on my heartstrings so much! I forgot how much of a sap I am for romance movies.

Have there any been any movies that have touched you emotionally, regardless of genre? Also, any romance movie suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

@Lene-chan: I guess I should elaborate my “Yup”, lol. Actually, “My Sassy Girl” wasn’t so bad. How does “My Soju” compare to it? As for romances, a darker film that moved me intensely enough to buy it, was the Korean “Failan” (2001). As for a romance-martial-arts-drama series, the Korean “Damo” (2003) is my favorite! Better? ^_^xJAYMANx’s last blog post..Blog 184 > Rewind in Anime, Myself & I

lol!Ah, My Soju is actually a Crunchyroll-esque service specifically for Asian dramas. Windstruck is the movie XD I found both movies to be heartfelt, but My Sassy Girl was definitely more quirkier than Windstruck.I may have to check out both Failan and Damo in the future. One of my most favorite K-movies is Shiri :D DD@Lightningsabre: Aah, I love Lovely Complex! The live-action was adorable. I’ve yet to finish up the anime series, though :x

@Lene-chan: Hahaha, “Shiri” was my first Korean fave! From there, I followed Yunjin’s works for a while, but still love Choi Min-sik (especially in “Old Boy” and “Failan”). He’s brilliant! >o<xJAYMANx’s last blog post..Blog 184 > Rewind in Anime, Myself & I

@blauereiter: I actually got to watch “My Girlfriend is a Cyborg” at a film festival two years ago! I really enjoyed it, especially since I got to see Rain do a yodeling bit :)
