We visit the baddest musicians to come out of hell, Tenacious D, on today’s #ThrowbackThursday! 

Now for anyone who hasn’t heard of Jack Black by now, you’ve been living in a cave. Jack Black and Kyle Gass have been making music together since the mid-1990′s. From their humble roots shooting 3-minute HBO shorts to cutting studio albums, Tenacious D has perfected their craft of musical imagery.

Black and Gass are amazing storytellers. The musical duo constantly battles demons and goes on crazy adventures within their songs. What results is really good metal infused with comedy. That’s something you can really enjoy!

Watch The Pick of Destiny! For a great taste of what Tenacious D is about, check out their movie. The music is incredible and the visuals give life to the brand of comedy that can only come from the D. They are after the infamous “Pick of Destiny” to become the greatest band of all time! And call me crazy but the devil sounds a lot like Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters).
