#TheWeekender – Snooze

And we’re back with #TheWeekender. Take a trip to Snooze, a place that serves some of the most creative breakfast items I’ve ever had.

In the heart of Hillcrest, there’s a place called Snooze. It’s an indoor/outdoor breakfast restaurant that looks like it’s fit for The Jetsons. With awesome servers ready at the door, you’ll be seated in a very comfortable dining area.

The menu consists of breakfast and lunch dishes. I consider myself a heavy eater and the food portions are just right. I could barely get through one of their wheat pancakes. The eggs and hash are also really good. Presentation is excellent, just like you made your meals special at home. And the leftovers (if you have any) are good to eat for at least a day after.

A helpful tip is to arrive early (preferrably 7:00AM). This place is so good that it fills up pretty quick. Saturday morning breakfast should be a good time to go while everyone’s still partied out from Friday night.

For those of you on a budget, the menu items range from $10-15. Expect your typical bill to run per person from $20-25 depending on drink, dessert, tax and tip. It’s still worth it to experience fine brunch dining.

Need a little drinky drink in the morning? No problem! Just ask your server for the adult beverage specials. And did I mention that the view from inside the restaurant is amazing? Sitting at the bar at the window makes for excellent people watching.
