Hey Derek. Read this post as well! The directors totally got you to do exactly what they wanted you to do: keep you talking about the show. I believe any good medium will stand the test of time.

I must remind you that life is open ended. My favorite part of any movie or show is the ending because with every ending, the real story begins. Your imagination wanders over to what life will be like for the characters. THAT is the great feeling that any good film, tv show, book, etc. will leave you with.

The reason why mediums today will leave it open ended is for the possibility of films and spin-offs. Also because they understand that life doesn't always provide complete closure. Complete closure is what most people look for in this instant gratification society.

For the person thinking about the glass being half-full or half empty, stop thinking. Be thankful there is a glass. :)

Hey Derek! Have to say I read your two posts and they have given me more perspective. I haven't gotten too far into the comic books because I get really picky over details. I've stayed with the television show (That's why I never liked the X-Men movies).

I agree with the zombie shots. Of course, angles are everything. You can make a small indoor set look huge when it's set up right.

I believe that this is a turning point for Rick as Shane pushed him this way. Despite the speech, Rick is still the same character and I believe that the fans will forgive him for this speech. They're just taken aback with his aggression right now.

Leaving off with a shot of the prison gives an air of mystery as to when they will find it. The producers of the show are doing the right things to keep the show in syndication. Shows in Asia finalize the number of episodes in a show. They're trying to keep this story on TV for as long they can.
