If you don’t know who these people are, look them up and watch their movies. You’ve been missing out. Now that we got that out of the way, onto the meat…

A dream within a dream. When this movie came out, it became a worldwide phenomenon. There are a lot of people who watch it once and say, “That was cool.” The reason why I’m bringing this movie up is that I ask you to watch it again to take a deeper look.

Symbolism is everywhere. Everything from the colors and mood of the scene to the dialogue between characters has heavy symbolism. I know that most people get confused watching a movie like this but given proper time, you will find that this movie a metaphor for life. But I’ll save that for another time.

Ariadne is your guide. Thank you Ellen Page. Her character Ariadne is new to Inception just like the viewer is. She asks key questions that you need to know to continue to understand what’s going on. She is also a key to understanding the entire plot.

We all have a Mal. Mal is by far the most interesting character in my opinion. Cobb is a torn man, which makes for a great subplot within a larger plot. I’ve been studying Cobb every time I’ve watched this movie. And every time I find out something new. I feel like I understand Cobb, his desperation and his anguish.

I leave you with this: I challenge you to watch the movie (again). Write down where you feel that they’re in a dream and where they’re in the real world. I guarantee that the more you watch this movie, the more you will question your choices. Especially when…

It’s definitely been a while since I last posted here. The reason for my sudden hiatus?

It was definitely school; however, I finally finished up the semester! This semester’s been tough on me, especially since the time-span between my last post and now. This is actually the first time I’m not taking summer school in a long while, so I have time to catch up on a lot of things.

I just found out that Haruhi’s 2nd season is actually airing! I’m definitely out of the anime news loop. I haven’t checked any of my favorite blogs in a long while. I haven’t even been able to do any reviews of any sort. Heck, I haven’t even been able to watch the third episode of K-ON!, which is still on my desktop as I speak. I’m contemplating on whether I should pick up any series that’s currently airing right now. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Also, does anybody want to help me get into Clannad? I finally have time for it, so I thought I might ask.

I’m going to catch up as much as I can to the most recent episode of K-ON!, maybe continue with Queen’s Blade (haha, who knows), and do some reviews on some anime series since I’ll be doing as many marathons as I can, and games, computer and video games alike. I recently became addicted to the demo of Mystical Chain Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier is also addicting as well. I also have some Gundam kits I’ve yet to assemble… aah! So much to do!

All in all, I’m back from my hiatus! Hope you didn’t miss me too much ;x
